Life

Life has just seemed to fly by in a whirlwind these past few months and I haven't taken the time to blog about all of it. So, I thought it would be fitting to do a picture update with little stories here and there about life over the past couple months.

March (yes I have to start here because that was my last post about life...sad I know)
Well it was my birthday
My coworker Hannah made me the most amazing chocolate peanut butter cake you will ever have in your life.

I went to Vancouver for a work event, it is such a beautiful city. I think I could live there, I loved all of the modern design mixed with the history of the city. It is also a huge filming location, so Jordan could get work. Some of my favorite shows are filmed there, Fringe and The Killing. I enjoyed the whole weekend because I was also without a phone, since the international rates were INSANE! It was like a break from the world. We took a trolley tour of the city, which I highly recommend if you ever go. We got to see so much in a short amount of time. We also had some of the most amazing food while we where there. We took the recommendation of our coworker Jonathan and ate at The Irish Heather, we loved it so much we went back a second time :) Below is my amazing pot pie and the bangers and mash that Mindy got. The sauce was some sort of Guinness BBQ/gravy sauce, I asked for it in a bottle, but they don't sell it :(

April

This beauty here to the right is a barn yard burger. We tried them with our friends David and Anna. And since we are all picky about our fast food eats, we got the chicken sandwich from McDonald's and the bacon cheese burger from Wendy's. It was good, but I will never ever do this again....I was sure that I was going to die in my sleep that night.
The picture above was a super sad day for me, it was the goodbye party for my coworker Justin. He is pretty much like a brother to me and became one of my best friends. He seriously is one of the funniest people I know. He now works for Toms, which has already benefited me :) so I guess it is OK that he left.
Insert stress...preparing for our fundraising event in Chicago. I was a mess for about 2 weeks. Oh, but the best part about the event was that Bobby Bowden was our key note speaker and I got to have my dear friends from college there as well.

I had Intelligentsia for the first time AMAZING coffee
Its never Chicago with out Garrett's popcorn...love is messy....AMEN!
 Jordan's present from the trip.
Jordan and I at our new favorite thing to do...watch soccer!! We are both huge LA Galaxy fans...oh and Justin was there too :)

 May
I had the opportunity right after the event in Chicago to go to Florida to see my family. It is amazing how grown up my siblings are and it is awesome to be apart of their growing families. My niece Isabella is so cute and already has an awesome personality. She is such a ham.
I was also so blessed to be there for my sister as she gave birth to her precious little girl Aspen. We thought I was going to have to fly back to meet her, but she came just in time for me to be there and spend a few short hours with her. This was our first picture together, sorry it was so blurry the room was dark and my old iPhone doesn't have the nifty flash.

Here she is just a few hours old.
While my sister was having her baby my dear friend Corrie was having her second girl too!! It was so fun to come home to meet the newest addition to the Sullivan family....Scarlett
I also got to squeeze in some good auntie time during the last month. Sienna and I built a tent in our living room.
And Jordan and I got to be the first non-grandma baby sitters for Jet. I just love him and his parents soooo much!!
Well I guess that is all and we are now caught up to June :)
